Organize Computer & Camera cords - Make-up bags are fantastic carry cases for cords & accessories to your laptop, ipod or camera. (Most homes with a female have an extra make-up bag or two around, or you can pick them up at your local dollar store.)

Sort out your cords and label the case. Easy!

Your camera recharger, computer cords and speaker cables will be easy to access & you will always know where to find them. This is a wonderful way of keeping of all the electronic cords for your home organized.

For travel, store two small bags in a larger bag (see picture) for easy access in & out of your computer bag.

Tips to Organize Your Space

If you truly want to get organized you must answer hard questions. For every item that you own (and I do mean every item), ask yourself this series of questions:

Give yourself time, getting organized takes longer than you think.

Sort & edit before purchasing any containers!

Purge. Say goodbye to whatever you don’t need, want or use.

Make sure your recycling box is full every week. Excess paper, memos, notices, newspapers, plastic bags & packaging. This can account for a good percentage of clutter in the home & office.

Keep a donation box in a closet or the basement. When you come across an item you don’t use, want or wear anymore put it in the box. When the box is full take the donations to a charity or thrift shop. Start a new box.

Organize Small Items - Look at items in a different way, sometimes items no longer needed for their original function can be put to a different use.

The small curio cabinet to the left belonged to a client's Mother. The client wanted to keep the piece but didn't know what to do
with it. As she regularly had her nails manicured & enjoyed doing her nails, I suggested using it to store her nail polish. Everything is together - organized & easily accessible. She now has a unique & fun way to view her nail polish & thinks of her Mom every time she uses the cabinet.
